The Rules

• No under 18’s allowed.
• Prize winners for all competitions, Golf Day and auction must have an official handicap for qualification.
• Prize winners must be in possession of a valid passport, valid for at least 6 months after October 2010.
• Should any sponsors, their staff, employees of Tsogo Sun Casinos or any of their family members win the tournament, they will not be eligible for the prize.
• Members of the PGA are not eligible to win prizes or qualify for the Finals.
• The prizes are not negotiable, transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

Any prize winner not conforming to any of the above will automatically become ineligible for the prizes.

Format of play

• The format for the Duke of Edinburgh Cup is Individual Stableford.
• Over and above the Duke of Edinburgh Cup there is also a Fourball Alliance Stableford Competition that takes place at each event.
• Players are to compete off their full handicap in accordance with the relevant National Golf Union handicapping system, with a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 36 for ladies. Each players ¾ handicap will apply for the Fourball Alliance Stableford Competition.
• All the Local Rules of the host club will be in play.  
• The tournament referee’s decision is final.
