Through Tsogo Sun’s sponsorship, funds are donated to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards International Foundation, the Orphans and Vulnerable Children’s Trust in South Africa as well as the Junior Golf Foundation.

In addition to this, proceeds from the golf days, held by each of the five Tsogo Sun properties, are donated to local charities.

In 2008, an amount in excess of R700 000 was donated to charities around the country. This is an enormous contribution that would never have been initiated had it not been for the Duke of Edinburgh Cup.
